Schmale is a participant in the state programme ‘Reconciling work and care in NRW’
As a participant, we have signed the charter for reconciling work and care. In doing so, we have committed ourselves to improving care friendliness within the company.
Our colleague Martin Spielmann has successfully completed his qualification as a company care guide. In future, he will be the first point of contact as a counsellor for employees who have to balance their work and caring for family members.
There are currently 1.2 million people in need of care in North Rhine-Westphalia. Most of them are cared for at home by their relatives.
As an employer, we see it as our responsibility to take into account the demographic development of society on the one hand and the needs of our employees who take on caring responsibilities on the other.
